Unveiled in 2023 and entering production in January 2024, the Model 589 is the direct successor to the legendary long-hood 389, carrying the classic chrome-and-stainless aesthetic into a new era. It moves to the wider 2.1-meter cab shared with the 579 and 567, giving drivers about 8 extra inches of interior room while keeping the cab-mounted mirrors, pod headlights, dual stacks, and 121-inch or 131-inch BBC aluminum hood that owner-operators love.
