It uses the Sanden SD7H15 compressor body, runs on 12 volts, and is designed for R134a refrigerant. The unit has a 125mm (4.9-inch) diameter clutch with a two-groove A-section pulley. The ‘D’ style back head sets it apart from the more common JD head variant, and it typically replaces worn or seized compressors on trucks with Red Dot climate systems. Replacement is needed when the clutch fails, the compressor seizes, or cooling performance drops.
