DRIER- RECEIVER (74R2016)

This is a receiver drier (also called a receiver dryer) for heavy-duty truck air conditioning systems. It filters the refrigerant and traps moisture, protecting the compressor and expansion valve from damage. It should be replaced whenever the A/C system is opened for major service, or if contamination or moisture is suspected. This unit is 3 inches in diameter and 10 inches long with flange fittings, and is commonly used on Peterbilt trucks with Paccar A/C systems.
