PACCAR DRYER

This is an A/C receiver drier, commonly called a filter drier, for Kenworth heavy-duty trucks. It is a metal canister that acts as a filter and moisture trap for the air conditioning system. It removes harmful water, debris, and acids from the refrigerant to protect the compressor and other A/C components. This part is typically replaced any time the A/C system is opened for repairs, such as a compressor replacement, or when the desiccant inside becomes saturated, to ensure the system stays clean and dry.
