It is a full‑face, parallel‑flow heat exchanger that mounts in front of the radiator and cools the hot, high‑pressure refrigerant coming from the compressor. When the condenser leaks, gets clogged, or suffers stone damage, the A/C system can no longer blow cold air, and the condenser must be replaced.
