This switch is normally closed and opens at 2-6 PSI for cruise control kick-off. Verify your vehicle uses this configuration; some models employ a normally open switch for the low air indicator at 65-75 PSI (FSC1749-1907).

When pressure drops below 2-6 PSI, it opens to disable cruise control, preventing unsafe operation at low brake pressure. It is a direct aftermarket replacement for the Freightliner OEM switch FSC1749-2134 and fits various Freightliner and Mack models. Replace this switch if your cruise control fails to engage or disengage correctly, or if the switch is physically damaged or leaks.
