L-Series (Louisville)
The Louisville Line — Ford's conventional big rig that built America's job sites.
The L-Series was Ford's first purpose-built Class 8 conventional; when Ford exited heavy trucks in 1998 the design was sold to Freightliner and re-emerged as the Sterling A-Line, so survivors still pull from a deep parts pool.
