WC2033R
This is a right-hand (passenger side) S-cam camshaft for heavy-duty trailer drum brakes. It converts the linear push of the brake chamber into rotational force, spreading the brake shoes against the drum to slow the vehicle. You replace this when the cam head or splines are worn, the shaft is bent, or after bearing/seal failures that damage the shaft. Proper camshaft condition is critical for even brake application and to prevent uneven shoe wear.
Confirmed dimensions: 28 spline, 11-1/32" length, 1-1/2" diameter. Often associated with standard trailer axles; cross-references suggest it fits some M-4009-R applications. Always verify dimensions and spline count against the old part. This is a right-hand unit; a left-hand version is sold separately.
