S-CAM, SPICER

This is a left-hand S-camshaft for trailer air brake systems, typically used in Spicer-style axle ends. The S-cam converts the linear push from the brake chamber into rotational force that spreads the brake shoes against the drum. Replacement is needed when the cam surfaces are worn, splines are damaged, or bushing play causes uneven braking.
