A king pin end cap threads onto the bottom of a king pin assembly to seal and protect the king pin bearing and lubricant from dirt, moisture, and debris. Replacing a damaged or missing cap helps prevent premature steering wear and contamination. This cap features 2-3/8 inch-16 threads and is a direct replacement for several GM medium-duty truck king pins as well as Eaton steer axles using the same thread pattern.
Also fits other heavy-duty steer axles with 2-3/8-16 king pin threading; confirm axle model before ordering. eBay listings suggest possible fitment on Peterbilt 379 and Kenworth T660, but these applications are unverified.
