TORQUE ROD BUSHING CHAMLERS

This is a heavy-duty torque rod bushing (radius rod bushing) built for Chalmers rear suspension systems on trucks and trailers. It is installed in the ends of the torque rods to allow controlled pivoting while absorbing road vibration and the twisting forces from acceleration and braking. Over time the rubber degrades, causing loose or clunking axles; replacing it restores proper axle alignment and stable handling. If your Chalmers‑equipped vehicle shows excessive rear‑axle shimmy or uneven tire wear, this bushing is the likely fix.
