It connects the trailer’s fixed air system to the sliding axle, allowing the axles to move back and forth while maintaining brake or suspension air pressure. Both ends have 3/8-inch NTA bulkhead fittings protected by steel spring guards, and the 114-inch length is a common replacement for standard slider applications. Replace this hose when it shows cracking, dry rot, or air leaks to maintain DOT 106 compliance and brake timing.
