11 CUBIC FOOT SALT SPREADER

The SaltDogg TGS07 is an 11 cubic foot tailgate-mounted salt spreader built for 3/4-ton and 1-ton pickup trucks. It uses a 12V electric motor, a horizontal auger, and an integrated vibrator to feed bulk rock salt or a 50/50 salt/sand mix onto a 12-inch poly spinner, throwing material up to 30 feet. The hopper is rust-free double-wall polyethylene, and the frame and trough are stainless steel, so it resists corrosion from de-icing chemicals. This spreader mounts to a standard 2-inch Class 4 receiver hitch and is typically replaced when the motor, auger, or spinner wears out, or when a larger-capacity unit is needed.
