It connects the tractor’s air supply to the trailer, providing pressurized air for brake operation and other functions. The coil extends to a 40-inch straight lead on the tractor end and a 12-inch lead on the trailer end, both terminating in 1/2-inch DOT brass fittings, including a LIFESwivel swivel fitting to minimize twisting and stress on the hose. Replace when the nylon becomes stiff, cracked, or begins to leak air, which can cause brake system pressure loss.
