CAMSHAFT LH 28SPL. 24.06

This is a left-hand S-camshaft for air brake systems on heavy trailers. It has a 28-spline, 1-1/2 inch diameter shaft and measures 24-1/16 inches from the spline shoulder to the head face. Designed for Meritor 16.5-inch Q-Plus drum brakes, it converts the rotary motion of the slack adjuster into linear force to push the brake shoes against the drum. Replace it when splines wear, journals score, or the S-head becomes worn to maintain safe, even braking.
