The Hendrickson S-38000 is a ZMD (Zero Maintenance Damping) rolling-lobe air spring for Hendrickson ULTRAA-K 40K trailer air-ride slider suspensions. It supports the trailer load and provides built-in damping, eliminating the need for separate shock absorbers. You replace it when an air spring leaks, cracks, or fails to hold pressure, or when converting an older suspension from S-34733 springs. For best ride and handling, always replace air springs in pairs or as a full axle set.
