It combines a hub and a cast iron brake rotor (part # S-37009-2) with long wheel studs and an HP (high-performance) bearing setup. The complete assembly is ready to install, saving time and labor compared to building up individual components. It is typically replaced when the rotor surface is worn, glazed, or heat-checked, or when the hub bearings or studs are damaged.
