It measures how fast a wheel is turning and sends that signal to the anti-lock braking system to prevent wheel lockup during hard braking. The sensor features a 90-degree angle head and a short 0.4-meter (1.31-foot) lead wire, giving you the flexibility to route the cable cleanly near the axle. Kit includes a sensor clip and assembly lubricant, and is typically replaced when a wheel speed sensor fails causing an ABS warning light or erratic braking behavior.
