It functions as an eccentric, threaded adjusting bolt that lets you fine-tune axle alignment on Neway air-ride suspensions, including NS, RL, and RLU series. Proper alignment is critical for even tire wear, fuel efficiency, and stable handling; this part is typically replaced when the threads seize, the eccentric lobe wears down, or after a major suspension overhaul.
