It uses a detent toggle lever that stays in the selected position: when flipped to 'on', the supply port is connected to the outlet and the exhaust is sealed; when flipped to 'off', the supply is shut and the outlet vents to atmosphere through the exhaust port. These valves are often used in heavy-duty truck air systems to manually control things like suspension dumps, air horns, air shifters, or other pneumatic accessories. Replace the valve if you hear constant air leaking from the exhaust in the off position, or if the toggle becomes loose, fails to detent, or doesn’t route air correctly.
