It connects the axle to the spring hanger and can be adjusted in length to correct axle thrust angles, preventing uneven tire wear and poor tracking. The adjustable design (18.5" to 21" center-to-center) allows fine-tuning of axle alignment. Replacement is needed when the bushings are worn, threads are damaged, or the arm is bent, which can cause misalignment and handling issues.
