This is a fabricated steel leaf spring equalizer for trailer suspension systems. It acts as a pivot point connecting both ends of the leaf springs, supporting them at the center of the trailer. Designed for Hutch H, CH9600, and CH9700 suspensions with axle spacing between 42-1/2 and 49 inches. It comes with the required TRB5542 bushing. Replacement is necessary when the equalizer is worn, cracked, or the bushing fails, which can cause poor ride quality or suspension misalignment.
