The kit includes the cam tube assembly, support brackets, washers, retaining rings, S-cam journal washer, and all necessary fasteners. It is replaced when the cam tube bushings or support brackets wear out, causing excessive S-cam movement, uneven brake pad wear, or brake noise. Two kits are required per axle to service both brake assemblies.
