The thermistor is a temperature-sensitive resistor in the overfill prevention system, and this face plate holds the 10-pin, 4 J-slot connector that links the trailer socket to the truck’s monitoring module. It is manufactured to Canadian/European specifications with an aluminum hardcoat J-slot body. Replace this assembly when the socket face is cracked, pins are bent or corroded, or you’re experiencing intermittent electrical contact.
