It is installed in a tank’s 2-inch NPT port or 2-3/8 inch opening to detect when liquid reaches the probe tip, preventing overfilling. Commonly used on cargo tanks, fuel trailers, and other liquid transport or storage vessels. This sensor is a direct drop-in replacement for many other 5-wire overfill probes.
