The E612 is a manual slack adjuster for heavy-duty truck and trailer air brake systems. It connects the brake chamber pushrod to the S-camshaft, turning linear pushrod motion into the rotational force needed to spread the brake shoes. Unlike automatic adjusters, it must be periodically adjusted to maintain proper brake stroke and clearance. This model fits a 1.5-inch diameter camshaft with 10 splines and offers an adjustable arm length of 5, 6, or 7 inches, making it a versatile service replacement for many commercial vehicles.
Universal fit
Designed for S-cam air brake systems with 1.5" diameter, 10-spline camshafts. The arm length can be set to 5", 6", or 7" to match the specific axle geometry. Always verify required arm length and spline before installation.
