It connects the axle to the frame to control axle movement and prevent wrap‑up. The arm is a cast center bar with hollow rubber bushings at each end, 19‑5/8 inches center‑to‑center and 7/8 inch inner bushing diameter. Replace it when bushings are cracked or worn, or if the bar is bent, to avoid uneven tire wear and handling problems.
