The equalizer assembly sits between the leaf springs, allowing them to pivot and keep the load evenly distributed across both axles. Over time, the rubber bushings wear down, leading to clunking noises, uneven tire wear, and poor handling; replacing the entire bushing and bolt assembly restores proper articulation and ride quality. The kit contains all the bushings, shaft, washers, and bolts needed to rebuild one equalizer beam.
