It contains the components needed to rebuild one equalizer beam—the center hinge that links the front and rear leaf springs on a walking-beam tandem. Worn equalizer bushings allow lateral movement that causes dog-tracking, uneven tire wear, and poor ride control; replacing them restores proper articulation, alignment, and handling. It is commonly used on roll-off trailers, flatbeds, and other heavy-duty trailers running the Reyco 21B or 21B-FAB spring suspension.
