It is an outboard-mount, hub-pilot design with a 10-bolt pattern, 11.25-inch bolt circle, and 8.78-inch pilot diameter. It directly replaces the Meritor 3721AX drum and is used on steer axles of many Class 7 and 8 trucks when the original drum is worn beyond the discard diameter, cracked, or heat-checked.
