It uses a ‘big bearing little bearing’ arrangement—larger inner bearing, smaller outer bearing—to handle both radial and thrust loads. The hub comes pre-assembled with bearings, seal, and an ABS tone ring, and mounts with 10 hub-piloted studs. It’s typically replaced when bearings wear out, the hub cracks, or during routine wheel-end overhauls on heavy-duty trailers running drum brakes.
