It uses compressed air to produce a linear stroke that moves the pump's shift fork, turning the pump on or off. This actuator fits specific PTO-driven pump models from Permco, Commercial, and Muncie, which are often found on dump trucks and other vocational vehicles. Replace it when the pump fails to engage, air leaks develop, or shifting becomes sluggish.
