U BOLT KIT

This is a U-bolt kit for heavy-duty truck suspensions, consisting of two Grade 8 steel U-bolts, four nuts, and four washers. It secures the axle to the leaf spring assembly, primarily on Freightliner trucks requiring a 1-inch diameter bolt with a 5-inch inside width and 18-inch legs. These U-bolts are tightened to a high torque of 1,010 ft-lbs to maintain proper axle alignment and suspension integrity. They are typically replaced when stretched, corroded, or broken, often during spring or axle service.
