The PAI ARE-9987 is a left-hand tie rod end for heavy-duty truck steering linkages. It connects the tie rod to the steering knuckle, enabling the wheels to turn. It has a 1-1/4 inch rod diameter and left-hand threads, typically installed on the roadside (left) side of the vehicle. This part is replaced when the tie rod end wears, which can cause loose steering, wandering, or uneven tire wear.
