The hose features a black EPDM inner tube with multi-fiber spiral reinforcement and a red EPDM cover that resists ozone, heat, and abrasion. It is flexible down to -40°F and can handle temperatures up to 200°F. Based on its construction, this hose is intended for use with standard push-on or barbed air fittings with clamps, not for air brake systems which typically use DOT-approved nylon tubing.
