This is a leaf spring equalizer for heavy-duty trailer suspensions, designed to fit Fruehauf F-2 and F-3 series suspensions. It connects the leaf springs between axles, distributing load and allowing the axles to articulate, which improves ride quality and reduces stress on suspension components. It commonly needs replacement when the bushings wear out or the equalizer itself becomes cracked or bent, causing uneven tire wear and poor handling. This part is an aftermarket replacement for the original Fruehauf equalizer.
Bushings not included; use with bushing kit FR9A-KIT, TRK5384, or SF1002 E-1024. Verify fitment with suspension type and axle spacing. Material may vary (cast iron, ductile iron, or steel).
