These heavy-duty 4-inch strips are made of a nylon core coated with a self-vulcanizing rubber compound. When inserted with a tire repair tool, friction heat causes the strip to bond permanently with the tire rubber, creating an air-tight seal. A box of 60 strips is a bulk supply suitable for fleet maintenance or high-volume tire shops, commonly used on passenger, light truck, and heavy-duty truck tires.
