The Civacon 5002E is a 2-wire optical retain sensor with a red/black wiring harness and housing, part of the CivaStar overfill prevention family. It installs at the bottom of a tank trailer compartment to detect retained liquid and prevent overfilling during loading. This sensor replaces older Civacon 1000RB and 1000-1000 series sensors and offers improved retained product detection and a 5-year warranty. It is used when an existing bottom sensor fails or no longer provides reliable readings.
