Left-hand thread. Used with some cast drums on TK, TKL axles; in those cases use E-4968-R (right) and E-4968-L (left) pair. Verify hub hole diameter matches 0.820 in. serration diameter and under-head length (2 7/8 in.) matches your hub/drum stackup. Always install new studs with correct grade and thread direction per OEM specification.

It securely fastens the wheel to the hub by pressing into the hub from the back side; the serrations bite into the metal to prevent rotation during installation.
