It is constructed of cast aluminum with a cast-in stainless steel wear plate for durability and a metal inner ball valve that stops air flow when the trailer is disconnected. The gladhand mounts via a 2‑bolt plate, has a rubber face seal, and connects to a 3/8 inch female pipe thread. It’s ideal for tandem and double trailers that require an emergency gladhand with shut‑off capability.
