It uses Ancra's X-Treme polyester webbing, which offers twice the abrasion resistance and better moisture resistance than standard straps, making it suitable for tough tie-down jobs. The strap has a working load limit (WLL) of 5,400 lbs and features a steel powder-coated flat hook with an aluminum edge guard to prevent the webbing from fraying. You would replace this strap when the webbing shows cuts, heavy abrasion, UV damage, or if the stitching or hook is compromised.
