It uses a monoammonium phosphate agent that smothers and chemically interrupts fires, and is commonly used in commercial buildings, workshops, garages, and on DOT-compliant work vehicles. Replacement is needed after discharge, if the pressure gauge is out of the green zone, or according to NFPA 10 service intervals. The extinguisher is rechargeable and comes with a wall bracket.
