It uses a unitized design (Type 11) with a nitrile rubber element, a spring‑loaded main lip, and patented SURE‑LOCK ribs on the inner and outer diameters to prevent leaks. This seal replaces worn or leaking hub seals on Rockwell, Clark, and similar trailer axles, keeping oil in the hub and protecting the wheel bearings. It is a direct replacement for Stemco 372‑7097 and many other OEM numbers.
