This is a rear wheel oil bath seal designed for medium- and heavy-duty trucks. It keeps gear oil inside the hub while preventing dirt, water, and debris from entering, protecting the wheel bearings. The seal features a nitrile rubber element with a spring-loaded main lip and patented SURE-LOCK® ribs that grip the bore and shaft to prevent leaks. It is typically replaced during wheel bearing service or whenever an oil leak is observed around the hub.
