It features unitized construction with a nitrile rubber sealing element, a spring-loaded main lip, and patented SURE-LOCK® ribs on both the inner and outer diameters to stop shaft leaks and keep bore contamination out. You replace this part when the original seal fails, causing oil to leak from the hub, to maintain proper bearing lubrication and prevent costly wheel-end damage. It fits a 3.500-inch shaft and a 4.842-inch housing bore, covering a wide range of commercial vehicles from Isuzu, Chevrolet, GMC, Ford, Hino and similar steer axles.
