This is an SKF Scotseal Classic wheel end oil seal designed for heavy‑truck steer axle hubs. It keeps wheel‑bearing grease inside the hub and prevents water, dirt, and other contaminants from entering. Replace this seal whenever you perform brake system maintenance, replace wheel bearings, or notice grease leaking from the hub cap or behind the wheel.
Fits front steer axle hubs on many Class 6‑8 vehicles. Always verify hub dimensions before ordering: shaft 3.500″, bore 4.842″, OD 4.847″.
