WHEEL SEAL

This is a Stemco Guardian HP wheel seal designed for trailer axles. It installs into the wheel hub and rides on the spindle shoulder to create a tight barrier that keeps gear oil in and dirt, water, and debris out of the wheel end. You replace it any time you pull a hub for brake work or bearing service to prevent leaks that can contaminate brakes and cause bearing failure. It fits axles with a 6.008-inch bore, a 4.25-inch spindle shoulder OD, and bearing sets HM518410/HM518445, making it a direct match for many standard trailer spindle setups (often referred to as Pro-Par type).
