It combines a service brake chamber (for normal braking) and a spring brake chamber (for parking and emergency braking) in one unit. When you replace it, you’re getting a standard 2.5‑inch stroke chamber that bolts directly in place of most factory 30/30 chambers. It typically gets replaced when the diaphragm leaks, the spring breaks, or the push rod fails to stroke fully.
