Truck owners typically replace it when the original cap is damaged, cracked, or leaking, which can lead to wheel seal and bearing failure. The cap includes a large red fill plug for checking and adding oil, a 6-bolt mounting pattern, and comes with a gasket for a clean, leak-free seal.
