This Bendix QR1C is a combination quick-release and double-check valve for heavy-duty truck air brake systems. It speeds up the release of the emergency side of spring brakes and prevents simultaneous application of the service and emergency sides, protecting the brake chamber. Replace it when brakes release slowly, stick, or when a double-check function is needed after a valve failure. It is commonly mounted on the axle in spring-brake-equipped trucks and trailers.
